Detox Supplements – The Facts!

There are thousands of detoxification products available to buy, so which ones work and offer value? We are pleased to announce that we have secured the services of Janet Clark who has been using detoxification methods for over 10 years.

We had hoped that Janet was going to recommend perhaps a dozen or so products we could sell on Detox Diet Planet but if you read on you will find this is not the case.

We asked Janet about the popular detox products and reading material.

Tell us a little about your detox experiences please.

Well I struggled with my weight for over 10 years with swings of over 60lbs. I use to jump on the latest diet bandwagon, lose weight only to pile it all back on again. I discovered detoxification a good few years ago which changed my life as I learned not only how to detoxify myself but how to eat more healthily. I still do have the odd bad week but I counter this by making sure once a month I switch to a strict detox plan.

Acai Berry seems to be getting a lot of attention and has had great exposure on US and UK TV. Could you recommend a couple of these products to our readers?

There are dozens of Acai Berry products available of which many are the same product marketed in a different manner. In general these products are overpriced and will not help you to detox. Some of the claims made regarding Acai Berry are just imaginative marketing spew. My friends and I have tried the leading products including those advertised on this site and have been very disappointed.

Do you purchase any detox supplements at all?

Over the last few years I have tried most of them. A tip for all your readers would be not to rush out and buy the latest wonder pill or supplement but to take advantage of the free trial offers that are available online. You simply purchase the product and only pay for the postage. You then have the option to return the partially used product without further cost.

The only product I use and I will admit to taking it during my monthly strict detox  is Green Tea Purity. For me it simply stops me feeling weak and I use it as an energy boost. I don’t believe it helps me lose weight but for me it does give me energy and maybe helps to suppress my appetite just a little. Remember though what works for one does not work for all. Well worth a try if the free offer is still available! For supplements I need for my fruit drinks and my main detox recipe I simply buy quality unbranded versions from Puritain’s Pride.

Would you recommend the Lemon Detox Diet Kit that is available online and in local health stores.

No! You can simply make this detox yourself for a fraction of the price you would pay online or in health stores. There is very little difference between the commercial product and the product you can make from the free recipe I have supplied for this website. Save your money!

Do you use the Lemon Detox Diet?

Yes I do. Once per month I do detox using the Lemon Detox Diet Drink for between 4 to 7 days depending on my schedule.

Do you lose weight using the Lemon Detox Diet?

Well of course! If you think about it you do not eat any solid food whilst on the diet so you are bound to lose weight. On average I lose around 5lbs but the lemon detox plan is hard work and you should consult your doctor before even contemplating the detox diet.

Is it true that over 70% of those who try the Lemon Detox Diet fail within 48 hours?

I would say that the failure rate is higher than 70%. Most do not prepare for the detox diet.  As I have already said the plan is not easy. When I first tried this detox diet I gave up in less than 24 hours. If you are serious about completing this diet then read The Master Cleanse Secret Guide. There are dozens of books available which claim to help you complete the master cleanse but this is the best by far and has sold thousands of copies.
